Troubleshooting |
| |
On
some computers, it may take a long time to print a relatively
small PDF document. The reason for this may be that the document
is being printed on a non-PostScript (i.e., PCL or QuickDraw )
printer. Since Acrobat must convert these files for the printer,
it will generate very large print spool files.
Solution:
If you're printing from Windows, the printer is using a printer
driver designed by Microsoft (e.g., a printer driver included
with Windows) rather than a printer driver designed by the printer
manufacturer. Obtain and install a printer driver from the manufacturer
that's specifically designed for that printer, then print using
that driver. You can also print at a lower resolution in black
& white.
