Rogers Park Community Council |
The
Rogers Park Community Council was organized in 1952 to maintain
and improve the great qualities of our special neighborhood. Their
history is based on success - including securing thirteen lakefront
beaches for public use, obtaining Warren Park as an open space,
and assuring that residents have a voice in all areas of community
life.
RPCC is a blend of community activism and neighborhood services.
They act as an advocate and watchdog to assure that all people
have the same rights to services, resources, and opportunities.
RPCC is a multi-issue, community and membership-based not-for-profit
agency. Services are open to all individuals who live or work
in their primary area of operation - Lake Michigan on the east
to Western Avenue on the west; the city limits on the north, to
Granville on the south.
